Jakarta, 10 November 2017 – Following the preliminary investigation into alleged corruption in the procurement of national electronic identity card implementation package in 2011-2012 at the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) found sufficient initial evidence to upgrade the case status to investigation. KPK has named SN, House of Representatives legislator in 2009-2014, as suspect.

Jakarta, 3 October 2017 – Following the preliminary investigation into alleged corruption in the issuance of mining exploration and exploitation license, as well as mining production and operation license by Konawe Utara Regency Government in 2007-2014, the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) found sufficient initial evidence to upgrade the case status to investigation. KPK has also named ASW, Acting Regent of Konawe Utara in 2007-2009 and Konawe Utara Regent in 2011-2016, as suspect.

Jakarta, 12 November 2017 – Scams using the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) name continues to emerge, with two of such cases are recently reported to KPK. The first one involved an NGO worker wearing uniform and logo similar to KPK who tried to disrupt an activity of a state-owned enterprise in Central Java. The other one was a person claiming to be a KPK employee who asked for money to fund a sting operation in North Sumatra. The victim was tricked into giving dozens of million of rupiah.

Jakarta, 6 October 2017- Amid the investigation into alleged corruption crime related to gift/promise provision and gratuity for Kutai Kartanegara Regent, the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) investigators today arrested suspects RIW (Kutai Kartanegara Regent) and KHR (PT Media Bangun Bersama Commissioner).
