For the purpose of investigating allegations of corruption, accepting gifts or promises related to the procurement of satellite monitoring at the Indonesian Maritime Security Agency (Bakamla), today (28/3) investigator of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) conducted a detainment of suspect FA (member of RI Legislative Council period 2014 - 2019) for the next 20 days starting from today in Detention Center of Class 1 of East Jakarta KPK branch located at Pomdam Jaya Guntur.

Previously, KPK has named FA as suspect. FA as a Member of Indonesia Legislative Council (DPR) of the period 2014 - 2019 allegedly receives a gift or promise when it is known or reasonably suspected that the gift or promise is given to move to do or not to do something in his / her position that is contrary to his / her obligations related to the process of discussion and ratification RKA-K / L in APBN-P Fiscal Year 2016 which will be given to Bakamla RI.

For his actions, FA is suspected of violating Article 12 letter a or Article 12 letter b or Article 11 of Law Number 31 Year 1999 concerning the Eradication of Corruption as amended by Law Number 20 Year 2001 jo. article 55 paragraph (1) to-1 Criminal Criminal
