Jakarta, 17 March 2020. Indonesia’s Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) will be applying job adjustment to all of its corruption eradication activities from 18 to 31 March 2020. This adjustment is KPK’s response to the latest development in COVID-19 spread in Indonesia.

In accordance with Circular Letter Number 6 of 2020 on Work-from-Home Procedures for All KPK Employees to Prevent COVID-19 Spread, all employees and officers of Corruption Eradication Commission will work from home starting from Thursday, 18 March 2020.

The Corruption Eradication Commission ensures that their fight against corruption will continue. This is possible because KPK will implement staff rotational shifts: some will come to the office, while the others stay at home.

As for investigation and handling of cases, KPK is still doing its regular jobs by applying some adjustments to the current condition.

However, in terms of public services, KPK has temporarily closed all of its face-to-face services. These include requests for public information, public complaints, library, submission of State Organizer Asset Reports (LHKPN), and gratuity reporting.

However, legal councilors may still visit the detention centers provided that they observe all necessary precautions against COVID-19. All items for detainees will be received according to the usual schedule.

In addition to job adjustments, KPK will also sterilize its offices. The Red and White Building (KPK Headquarters) will be sprayed with disinfectant solutions for two days from 18 to 19 March 2020.
