KPK Detention Center at Merah Putih Building Starts Operation
The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) officially starts the operation of KPK Detention Center Class 1 on Friday (6 October). Located in the back of KPK’s Merah Putih Building in Jakarta, the detention center can accommodate 37 inmates.
KPK Commissioner Agus Raharjo said, the construction of the Center was based on the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights Decree No. M.HH-01.OT.01.01 on Detention Center at KPK as Detention Center Branch.
“The construction has met technical specifications of a building and the requirements from the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights,” Agus said.
