The Corruption Eradication Commission, in collaboration with the National Civil Service Agency (BKN), conducts an investigative audit education and training program for 74 staff auditors (Audiwan).

The training, facilitated by the KPK's Anti-Corruption Education Center, was conducted online and was officially opened by KPK Deputy Commissioner Alexander Marwata (15/6). Alex said that the auditors have a big challenge ahead of them to be able to identify the violations committed by the State Civil Service (ASN).

"It is no longer just about administrative violations, but the auditors must also be observant to see if there is a potential for a criminal act to occur," he said.

According to Alex, the KPK has found many corruption cases in the form of buying and selling positions in various agencies. Based on the experience of KPK in handling corruption cases in state administration, he believes that a staff auditor at BKN must comprehend investigative techniques to reveal any violations when indications of them are found.

The participants of this education and training programs coming from various BKN representative offices in Indonesia will attend the program for nine days from Monday (15/6) to Thursday (25/6). The education and training program is carried out using mixed learning methods that combine the independent learning method through e-learning and face-to-face online sessions with resource persons.

"We hope that the participants have equipped themselves with independent learning before taking the face-to-face online sessions and have already completed the stages in the e-learning class."

Participants will receive training materials on the law regarding corruption, investigative audit, and investigative interviews that will be delivered by resource persons, which are practitioners as well as examiners and investigators of KPK.
