For the purpose of investigating allegations of corruption, accepting gifts or promises related to projects in Jambi Province and other receipts, today (9/4) The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) investigator is detaining suspects ZZ (Governor of Jambi period 2016 - 2021) for the next 20 days starting from today at the First Class Detention Center of East Jakarta KPK Branch.

Previously, the Commission has named ZZ as suspect. ZZ as Governor of Jambi period 2016 - 2021 together with ARN as Head of Binamarga Jambi Provincial PUPR Service as well as Committing Officer and also Acting Head of Jambi Provincial PUPR Office allegedly receiving gifts or promises related to projects in Jambi Province and other receipts in the period of office as the Governor of Jambi period 2016 - 2021.

For his actions, ZZ is suspected of violating Article 12 B or Article 11 of Law Number 31 Year 1999 concerning the Eradication of Corruption as amended by Law Number 20 Year 2001 jo. article 55 paragraph (1) to-1 Criminal Criminal.
