In commemoration of the World Anticorruption Day, the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) held a concert at the front yard of the Red and White Building on Friday (Dec. 6). It featured noted musicians like Efek Rumah Kaca, Ananda Badudu, Tashoora, North to East, and Polka Wars.
Also performed at the concert were three bands that participated in KPK’s Anticorruption Voice Festival (SAKSI) in 2016-2018 and were included in the B-Side SAKSI music album: Silent School from Bandung, Sucom from Banjarmasin, and Dab from Madiun.
KPK Spokesperson Febri Diansyah said the B-Side album comprises nine songs from SAKSI participants in 2016-2018 that did not make it to the previous compilation.
“We hope this album can serve as an alternative of music with anticorruption theme for the public,” he said.
During the event, KPK also announced the winners of Anticorruption Journalist Competition 2019. Previously, KPK had named 10 finalists for Professional Journalist category and eight finalists for Citizen Journalists category
