After conducting a series of tests, from administrative selection, health evaluation and competence assessment, the Committee to Select Secretary General of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has chosen three candidates.

KPK Spokesperson Febri Diansyah said on Wednesday (19/6) in Jakarta that the three candidates were picked from 200 registrants during the third phase of the selection. The names and titles of the candidates can be seen on KPK website at https://jpt.kpk.go.id/index.php.

Febri said the next process would be interview with the selection committee. “The committee will decide whether the candidates will be recommended to the President or there would be another consideration,” he said.

The President will choose and appoint KPK Secretary General based on the committee’s recommendation.

In every stage, the committee focused on whether the candidates met every requirement and checked their track records. KPK also allowed the general public to provide information on the track records. It was necessary to ensure the upcoming Secretary General to work optimally in eradicating corruption.
